Barb Lien-Cooper and Park Cooper are a married-couple writing team who create fiction under the name of Wicker Man Studios. Their tagline is WICKER MAN STUDIOS: RELATIONSHIP DRAMAS IN SPOOKY WORLDS. Wicker Man Studios, now an LLC, has created comic books and graphic novels, including HALF DEAD, a creator-owned vampire graphic novel that was published jointly by Marvel Comics and Dabel Brothers Productions. While co-writing a manga project for Tokyopop shortly before that company's fortunes had their catastrophic turn, Barbara and Park switched to also editing and adapting manga, such as V. B. ROSE for Tokyopop, NORA for Viz Media, and many, many more. Then Barb and Park started writing prose novels, such as the series SONG TO THE SIREN (suburban folk horror) and THE TALKING CURE (a very-slow-burn paranormal romance). However, their graphic novels have had a renaissance, as two successful Kickstarter crowdfunding campaigns brought back Barbara's comic GUN STREET GIRL (this time in color), and the spooky samurai book HUNGRY GHOSTS and the similar-but-different prose novel HUNGRY GHOSTS: THREE ONI OF BLOOD.
