Ward Farnsworth

Ward Farnsworth is an American legal scholar. He is a professor of law at the University of Texas School of Law, where he is the W. Page Keeton Chair and was previously the dean from 2012 to 2022. He served as Reporter for the American Law Institute’s Restatement of the Law Third, Torts: Liability for Economic Harm, and is the author of books on law, rhetoric, philosophy, and chess.
