Ken Burton is digging a hole for a water catchment tank in the garden of his house in southern Spain, when he finds a small wooden chest containing a flag - a red battle standard with three green moons - and a dried flower. The flag is one mentioned in the tiled murals at Frigiliana, Spain, commemorating the last stand of the Moors in 1568 ... but what of the flower?Investigation reveals Ken's past life at the time of the battle and a romantic attachment going back over many lives. Maybe the romantic attachment will have a happy ending in this life.
