INTERMEDIATE ALGEBRA: A CONCISE INTRODUCTION is a course designed to provide students with the algebraic skills needed in today's society as well as build a strong foundation for courses such as College Algebra, Precalculus, and Statistics. Careful attention was taken to maintain the rigor of the course, as topics were introduced not only to showcase algebraic skills but also to tie them in to their graphical, numerical, and verbal connections. Real-life applied problems were designed to allow students to see where algebra is used in today’s society.
