Synopsis · may contain spoilers
Matt, Bob, Kent, Jim B and Jim C were only one small group of skydivers in the 1960s and 70s: the era of freedom, drugs and rock ‘n’ roll; young men, fueled by testosterone, transitioning into adulthood while embracing personal freedom, individual responsibility and pursuing the cutting edge of skydiving relative work. From the skies of Vietnam, across North America to Kansas, Texas, Florida, California, and eventually to Europe and beyond, their stories are a metaphor for the quest to strive, to excel, to celebrate wins and mourn losses, to test the boundaries of what is known and what might be. Exciting, yes; adventurous, yes; dangerous, certainly; but the overall sense of being truly alive in the moment is universal and exists within us all.
