Synopsis · may contain spoilers
In a distant future where humanity has exerted its seeds of life through the nationalistic hand of Earth's United Interplanetary Government (UIG) around the galaxy, the only threat to man is man himself. As such, not all manner of human colonization desires to fall under the strict patriotism of the one unified government; leading efforts to have formed the Liberator Conglomerate Administration (LCA) to combat authority in the name of independence. Though for the sake of righteousness, this galactic conflict spanning planet to planet would never be a source of safety to anyone of either or neutral affiliation caught in between the lethal skirmishes. On planet Epsilon, the LCA's influence runs more rampant and careless than ever, being on the farthest reaches of human civilization amidst the stars. Their tactics to overrun the UIG are swift, often brutal, and reckless despite effectiveness; costing the lives or livelihoods of anyone in the refuge of their war path. Follow the story of James (Jimmy) Duncan: a simple working man who lived his life with his veteran brother away from war in the suburbs of the UIG. That is, until war follows his brother home and destroys their way of life, setting Jimmy on a long walk bereft of solace in search of a way off the planet. Having become hardened men in order to survive a homeland replaced with ash, only by traveling through Epsilon's version of America's Old West and encountering a new sense of family can their ruthless shells be softened.
