Export Your Reading Data as a Private CSV Backup

Your reading history is worth keeping in a form you can store yourself. MyBibliotheca lets you download a CSV export from Settings with a copy of your profile and library details. The export is generated when you request it and is not saved on MyBibliotheca’s servers.

The CSV includes your books, reading statuses, ratings, notes, start and finish dates, and reading logs. It does not include your password, login tokens, or another person’s data. Because notes and dates can be personal, keep the file somewhere secure and avoid sharing it publicly.

Download before a large change

Open Settings from the account menu and choose Download my data (CSV) under Backup your data. Save the file somewhere you trust. It can be useful before a large import or a library cleanup, when you want a reference copy of the records you have saved.

The export is a snapshot of the information currently in your account. If you add more books or sessions later, request another copy when you want an updated snapshot.

Keep control of cleanup

Removing a book or a reading session changes your library and may affect totals or streak calculations. Deleted entries cannot be recovered from MyBibliotheca, so download a backup first if you might need the record later.
