Save your place, a session, or both

For a print book or ebook, enter a current page or percentage to remember your position. Add pages read to record the amount from one sitting. For an audiobook, select the audiobook format and use duration or percentage to track your place; add minutes listened when you want the session total. A position only entry can save your place without inventing pages or minutes.

Choose today or an earlier date when logging a session later. Notes are optional. Reading Timeline shows the dated history, and daily page and minute totals use the actual session metrics recorded.

Use the right edition details

Different editions can have different page counts, and audiobooks have their own duration. Set the format and the physical page count or audio duration for the copy you are reading. If publisher extras come after the readable text, you can set the last readable page separately. Future percentages then use that end point without changing the saved history.

Changing from ebook to audiobook also does not recalculate past sessions: pages remain page sessions, and listening time remains listening time. That keeps your record understandable if you switch formats partway through a book.

Keep the record flexible

You can log from the Dashboard or the book page. Use a position when you want to pick up where you left off, a session total when you want a daily reading summary, or both when that is useful.
